IT Asset Management Specialist
Functional Responsibility: Maintains databases for disposition and configuration management of computer hardware/software/network assets. Compiles records of amount, type, and value of material or stock on hand. Monitors reorder points, and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in database, notifying management of irregularities. Compiles information on purchase, receipt or disbursement of material and computes balances, prices and costs. Utilizes various state of the art inventory and management software to input and retrieve data. Conducts Internet searches for product information and inventory management. Utilizes workstation with e-commerce tools. May provide schematic diagrams of hardware and electrical configurations, updating as required.
